- my list of 80 best baby books. read aloud using your best voice, sing silly songs, recite poems, make animal sounds and ask questions(my favorite). enjoy this time together. make it a routine to read daily. it helps build their language skills and remember, babies learn from repetition, so read the book again and again and again. here is a list of my 80 favorite board books when reading to babies and the benefits are wonderful. i read to all my postpartum families, no matter their age.
